Engels geboortegedicht: ‘There are many wonders’

Et j'ai découvert qui je suis
Tout a changé le jour ou je t'ai donné la vie
Et si jamais le monde est trop cruelle
Je serai là
Toujours pour toi

Oublies tes peurs
Tes erreurs
Moi, je les effacent
Mon seul désir
Serai de t'offrir
Une vie idéale
Sans peine et sans mal

She sleeps through almost every sound
even when it's screaming loud and clear
but she wakes up and smiles at a friendly voice
if it whispers softly in her ears

He who set the stars in space
Came by this way today
He left a tiny bundle
Within our hearts to stay

He brought us a miracle
And from the very start
He gave us love unspeakable
Boundless love within our heart

What began as only two of us
For all the world to see
By the miracle of adoption
We became a family!

I bet you can't believe it
when you see that little face
the little hands and little feet
all that love in just one place
our tiny little gift from God
is such a joy to see....
We are thankful to heaven above
for making us a family
