Spaans geboortegedicht: ‘Hoy se ensancha’

Double the diapers
Double the pins
Double the sleepers
We've just had twins!

Make believe this is the first day
Everything all brand new
Make believe that the sun is your own lucky
star
And then understand the kind of gift you are

Small enough
to hold in your arms
Big enough
to fill our life with happiness

A little boy, so beautifull
So perfect, tiny and small
Thursday you came into my arms
And everything became wonderfull

Your big blue eyes, they touched me
As the brightness of the light
You are a new born happy star
That twinkles in the night

I hope your future will be lovely
Lacking every sorrow
May you grow to be a big boy
And make a little rainbow
