Geboortegedicht: ‘Daar ben je dan’
Daar ben je dan
negen maanden vol geluk
de komende jaren kunnen ook niet meer stuk
alle liefde die jij ons geeft
zo'n klein wonder dat volop leeft
we zijn blij dat je bij ons bent
en zien vol spanning toe hoe jij het leven in rent
Meer geboorte gedichten
On the day that you were born
On the day that you were born
the angels came together
and decided to create a dream come true
so they sprinkled golddust in your hair
and golden starlights in your eyes
And there were you
He who set the stars in space
He who set the stars in space
Came by this way today
He left a tiny bundle
Within our hearts to stay
He brought us a miracle
And from the very start
He gave us love unspeakable
Boundless love within our heart
What began as only two of us
For all the world to see
By the miracle of adoption
We became a family!
Maandenlang werd ze verwacht
Maandenlang werd ze verwacht
Onze wens is nu volbracht...
Het is de vreugde die wij voelen
Het is de vreugde die wij voelen
Omdat we wisten dat jij kwam
Het is tederheid die jou zal omringen
Opdat jij met liefde opgroeien kan
