En de bomen huilden
dauwdruppels in het gras

vreugde om iets dat
vroeger nog gewoon
hemel was

in jouw ogen hebben de dingen
hun plaats gekregen
houden van jou is dansen
in een zachte gouden regen

De liefste man ben jij voor mij
de liefste die er is
toen ik aan jou mijn hart verloor
sloeg ik de plank niet mis
Ik houd van je ogen en je haar
van het kuiltje in jouw kin
maar 't is ook om je warme hart
dat ik je zo bemin!

Al vanaf de eerste dag
was ik betoverd door jouw lach
Mijn liefde voor jou is eindeloos
het is daarom dat ik voor jou koos
Je ogen zijn zo helderblauw
en ik, ik hou zoveel van jou
Mijn liefde voor jou is niet uit te leggen
daarom kan ik het jou moeilijk zeggen
Je haar is zo mooi blond
ik ben zo blij dat ik je vond
Ik blijf jou eeuwig trouw
jij bent alles waar ik van hou

Perhaps something like happiness
Look up, it's written in the moon

The moon lights you up all night
Stars are coming from above
Both taking care of you, oh so tight
Just as I give you all my love

My love surrounds you, caring all day
Like a tulip, a rose or an orchidee
I respect you in such a descend way
