Engels geboortegedicht: ‘You are the sunshine of my life’

It's double the trouble
Twice the fun
Having two babies
Instead of one!

When I saw our baby in your eyes
It was like falling deep in love
There is no greater gift than what you gave

A brand new baby on the way
Oh such tears of joy, I've never known
I can't remember
It's like a song, I've never heard
I've never sung, but know the words

I heard the angels cry above
The day that you gave me a daughter

We received a gift
a brand-new life
tiny and sweet
a blessing indeed
A baby girl
precious and small
an answer to prayer
no joy can compare

You're one in a Million
Yes, that's what you are
To us so very special
Like a bright shining star
